Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso is a least developed Sub-Saharan country, but its government has made efforts to improve the business climate.
In the WB Doing Business ranking Burkina Faso has moved up from 154th in 2006 to 153rd in 2012. The life of an entrepreneur has been made easier: e.g. starting a business used to take 12 procedures and 45 days back in 2005, but only 3 procedures and 13 days in 2012.
Burkina Faso’s GNI per capita has gone from US $ 360 in 2005 to US $ 570 in 2012.

Burkina Faso’s employers’ national and international interests are being represented by the Conseil National du Patronat Burkinabé (CNPB), a member of the International Organisation of Employers.
