DECP Annual meeting focusing on Skills Development

Once or twice a year, the DECP staff holds a meeting in which all actual developments are discussed. The 5th of September, the DECP experts and country managers came together to exchange recent experiences and projects which are about to start. One of the crucial items was skills development as an important element of the expansion of the portfolio. BMO's in most of the countries DECP is supporting identify this as a major condition for economic growth and thus as a field of experience they want to share with DECP experts. Especially for this reason the meeting was held at the Duurzaamheidsfabriek in Dordrecht. This inspiring Smart Industry fieldlab is focussing on an integrated approach of skills development for students and lifelong learning. Therefore, companies, schools for vocational education and higher education as well as the Delft University of Technology and the regional government strongly work together. Some major decision have been made about future project of DECP. A guided tour through the facilities completed the day.
