Lobbying skills are vital
From October 3rd till 7th 2011 DECP organised workshops on Lobbying in Ho Chi Minh City and in Hanoi. Subjects dealt with were: collecting information for the lobby campaign, how to prepare the message and how to communicate this message and which tools to use. During the workshops exercises were held on how to set up a priority plan, making a press release and preparing a meeting with a politician.
During this visit of the DECP representative to Vietnam the Activity Plan for 2012 was also discussed with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, the partner of DECP in Vietnam.
