Andrew Moore Country manager View profile

Following on from the successful training by the DECP for both District staff and Chamber Directors at the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in Rwanda the country manager Andrew Moore undertook a one day mission to Kigali. He met with the CEO Hannington Namara to discuss what further technical assistance, e.g. on Health and Safety, the DECP could provide to assist the PSF in becoming a much more membership focused organisation. It was agreed that the provision of services was a key priority both in terms of membership retention but also in revenue generation. It was agreed that the DECP would work with PSF on developing a service strategy. It was also agreed that PSF would develop a “Golden Circle” membership for its major members and the DECP will work with the organisation to develop a membership package. The mission also provide an opportunity to meet with Antoine Manzi the PSF representative on the East African Employers Organisation (EAEO) to discuss the out come of a Technical Committee meeting which had been held in Arusha the previous week.
