Refreshment training on mediation skills
After the Mediation Training in September/ November 2014 VCCI/ VWEC and DECP facilitated a refreshment training 20th and 21st of June in Hanoi. All participants continue to underline the utmost importance of the use of this product in the present situation of the Vietnamese economy. Too many conflicts arise and are not solved in a proper way, causing lower productivity and human distress. However, regulations in the Vietnamese Labour Code limit the market approach for mediators. Mediation in Vietnam often means imposing solutions on conflicting parties. There is no room for solving conflicts of interest in this approach. The Club (VCCI/ VWEC/ DECP) approach is helping parties to find their own solutions, which help parties to find sustainable ways to solve their differences in interest. Participants developed a new market approach which the Club will pick up.
