Setting the agenda for 2015-2017

On 30 and 31 October 2014 DECP special advisor Rogier CHORUS visited the Indonesian Employers’ Organisation APINDO in order to discuss continued co-operation with DECP for the 2015-2017 period.

He met APINDO President Wanandi, Executive Director Pambudhi and Dept. Director Savitri. Eight areas for co-operation were identified, including a seminar for the APINDO Board and staff on strategy; the formulation of an annual business agenda (listing goals and achievements); staff capacity building; the development of an e-library and seminars on advocacy/lobbying and wage negotiations.

Rogier Chorus also visited the Dutch Embassy, the ILO representative in Indonesia and INA, the Dutch Chamber for Indonesia in order to exchange views on strengthening APINDO.

             DECP and APINDO agreed to try and implement the various initiatives as quickly as possible.
