Ellen Ziwoya and Wales Mtungila of the Employers’ Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM) were the first persons ever to complete the new DECP-course ‘Get noticed, create news’. Objective of the course is to improve the activity on the ECAM-website and to be able to publish newsletters more often.

In order to achieve those objectives ECAM has to create more relevant content. ‘Get noticed, create news’ does exactly that – help to create more relevant content that may previously have been overlooked. The course – online during the Covid-19-crisis – teaches how to look from a different perspective at issues. Many issues and themes have something that is interesting for the target group of an employers’ organisation. The key is in identifying that interesting aspect.

‘Get noticed, create news’ was developed by DECP-specialist Jannes van der Velde and delivered in Malawi by him during 5 online sessions of 2 hours each.
