Work disturbed by power failures

The Employers’ Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM) are facing big challenges executing both their daily work and their long term plans due to frequent and long power failures. A power generator bought with support of DECP brings a bit of relieve but not enough to cover for all black outs. Currently only 10 out of more than 40 office hours per week are covered by public power supply.

ECAM with the assistance of DECP will be looking into several alternative strategies to become self-sufficient when it comes to electricity.
