On Thursday 23 September 2010, the Business Confederation of Macedonia (formerly called CERM) organised a Round Table in Skopje during which it presented a report on the assessment of Regulations and Practices on the Seasonal Employment in Agribusiness in Macedonia.

This Round Table was attended by several stakeholders and representatives of the social partners. The conclusions were accepted by all participants. A steering committee has been set-up which will develop a lobby campaign in order to submit proposals for changes in the social regulations with the aim to improve the seasonal work in Macedonia.

The organisation of the Round Table was supported by DECP who was represented by J.M. Standaert, country manager. The report can be downloaded from the website of BCM: www.cerm.co.mk
