New CRM becomes backbone of ZFE's work processes

From 18 to 25 October 2014 DECP country manager Jannes van de Velde undertook an advisory mission to the Zambian Federation of Employers (ZFE). He noticed that the customer relations management system (CRM) is quickly becoming the backbone of many work processes at the  ZFE. The ZFE recently upgraded their ICT infrastructure including the installation of a state of the art network server and have managed to successfully implement the Sugar CRM. This allows them to keep information about members up to date and accessible for all staff and to send mass email like newsletters and invitations. The system also provides management information and helps to follow up membership invoices and has actually helped to shorten the time that members take to pay their fee.

Sugar CRM has been supplied by the ILO and installed with the assistance of both ILO and DECP.
