Prior to the general elections of 11 August 2016 President Lungu’s Government has received ZFE’s views on the way forward for the Zambian economy. The ZFE Manifesto was presented by ZFE president Tyson Bruno Chisambo to Fackson Shamenda, Minister of Labour and Social Security, during the celebration of ZFE’s 50th anniversary on April 1 in Livingstone.

The manifesto – drafted with DECP’s support -  provides politicians with guidelines for policy making in order to create a healthy economic climate. Top priority according to employers is the need for  a long term orientation and consistent policymaking.
