Advisory mission to Uganda
The DECP country manager for Uganda undertook one of his regular visits to the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) in Kampala from January 31st until February 4, 2011.
The issue of the role of FUE in developing a clear advocacy role in Uganda was a key issue discussed during the mission. The delegation from Pro€Invest also visiting Kampala and joined in the discussions with FUE.
More progress was made in the development of the FUE Membership Pack which is due to be completed within a few weeks.
The mission also provided an opportunity for the DECP to brief the staff at the Netherlands Embassy in Kampala on its work both in Uganda and also at an East African Community level.
