(Chuquisaca) Employers work out a strategic plan

Late November 2013 Peter Boorsma, special advisor of DECP for Bolivia, visited the Federación de Empresarios Privados de Chuquisaca (FEPCh) to discuss future cooperation. FEPCh and DECP signed a Partnership Agreement in 2012.

The employers organized in the FEPCh in Sucre are working out a strategic plan in order to strengthen their organization and improve their lobby activities. A local facilitator, paid for by DECP, held interviews with entrepreneurs, local and regional authorities and organizes workshops with members.

FEPCh is also working on a census of local business. The employers’ organization is strengthening the ties with members and stakeholders by publishing the magazine Bitácora four times a  year. The census and the start of this magazine are partly financed by DECP.
